We are delighted to share with you the wonderful news that Sojourn 2007 was a resounding success! We are now ready and pleased to invite you and several others to be part of the second group and join us for Sojourn 2008.

Sojourn is a Lasallian Pilgrimage and Renewal Program to France and Rome, Italy. In celebration of the forthcoming 100-year Anniversary of Lasallian presence in the Philippines, the Sojourn Pilgrimage Experience is designed to deepen the spiritual experience of Lasallian Family members by a physical return to our Lasallian roots.

Sojourn 2008 is tentatively set for 06 to 20 April 2008. The ideal number of sojourners is between 30 to 35.
The amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Euro ( 2,500.00) is the estimated expense for every pilgrim to France and Rome, Italy. This will cover the pilgrim’s international roundtrip airfare (Manila-Paris-Manila), domestic European roundtrip airfare (between France and Rome), travel insurance, coach service, comfortable accommodations in
hostels, youth camps, or diocese dormitories, administrative fees, and pilgrimage materials.*

For those interested, and if a viable number is reached, a visit to the District of North Belgium may be arranged after the pilgrimage proper.

06-16 April 2008 France
16-20 April 2008 Rome
20-23 April 2008 Belgium (optional)

Notice and subsequent instructions to all prospective pilgrims will be sent on or before 16 November 2007. Please expect us to get in touch with you on or before 01 October 2007 to follow up this invitation.

Sojourn Pilgrim Profile

1. Must be associated with the Lasallian Family in the District of the Philippines, e.g. member of the board of trustees, administrator, faculty, staff, alumni, parent, and student.
2. Must have Lasallian leadership potential and skills as future Lasallian formator, e.g. Vice-Chancellor/Director for Mission, Dean of Student Affairs, HR Officer, Lasallian Formation Officer, Student Council Moderator, Student Leaders, etc.
3. Must be between 18 to 75 years old
4. Must be fit to travel, can load and unload a 20-kilo luggage with ease, and when
   necessary, can walk long distances
5. Must have attended basic Lasallian courses, otherwise must attend the pre-pilgrimage
   orientation modules.
   Note: Upon acceptance as a pilgrim, a �� 100 (EURO) non-refundable, reservation fee will
   be required.
